Got the Necro Pack but from looking at it all the playstyles don't really seem to be my type of deal, so I fear I'll lose interest rather quickly and have wasted my starter Set. Hey, I'm still trying to decide between Barb, Crusader or Necro and it'd be very nice if someone could answer some questions I have. I have every piece I need for either set and my damage is about 1/20th of what you see in showcase videos. DMO frozen orb is basically unkillable (3 billion toughness with 4 stacks of infinite orb) but doesn't do all that much damage.įrozen orb is ok but it's not that great unless you already have optimized gear. Plus being so squishy even with the second life that it's not worth it. Archon stacks rise so slowly now that you can only get 1 stack per spell per second so you end up at 80-100 stacks most of the time instead of 150+, so that's a huge damage fall off in itself.
You do effectively 0 damage while in archon so you get 20 seconds of damage uptime (which is difficult to maintain because of the cost of frozen orbs, since you can't wear or cube delseres belt for max resource return) and then you're back to spamming.
